A banana “proves” God’s existence

What do you think of this?  (Read the comments…some of them are pretty funny!)

Over at Church Marketing Sucks, they report that there’s going to be a debate with these guys and two atheists.  To me, it feels like a joke…do they really believe that presenting a logical argument for 13 minutes will erase all doubt, bad experiences, questions, etc.?

I’m skeptical.

  4. Oh no, ABC is airing a debate between atheists and Christians and we have RAY COMFORT and Kirk Cameron representing us? We’re screwed.

I’m sorry, but I’m not a big fan of these guys. Ray Comfort’s Evidence Bible (”Irrefutable evidence for the thinking mind) starts off with a several page document written by none other than everybody’s favorite creationist Kent Hovind. Hovind is widely considered an embarassment by pretty much everyone, and is currently serving a ten year prison sentence for tax evasion. Come on guys, geez.
