Sometimes…when I’m working in a coffee shop I shut off my iPod and eavesdrop — people assume that I’m not listening because I leave the ear buds in.

i am one that will talk into my cell phone (with no one on the other end) in a store when i see someone i don’t want to talk to.
we all eavesdrop on others conversatiosn in public. it is interesting
